    • Visited South Africa to study the process of reconciliation after Apartheid in 2002.
    • Attended the brainstorming session in Colombo, Sri Lanka on “The Role of Civil Society in the Prevention of Armed Conflicts” organized by the European Centre for Conflict Prevention and the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS), in November 2003.
    • Participated in National Security Workshop in 2004 organized by National Defence College, Islamabad.
    • Visited Northern Ireland to study the Irish peace model on the invitation of British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.2004
    • Participated in Peace-building, Conflict Transformation and Post-War Rebuilding, Reconciliation and Resolution (2005) Training organized by TRANSCEND in cooperation with the Peace Action, Training and Research Disaster Management Training Programme (UNDMTP) at Cluj-Napoca, Romania from 28th March to 1st April 2005.
    • Attended International seminar organised and conducted by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES India) in Colombo, Sri Lanka on “India – Pakistan, A new peace process”. 2005.
    • Participated in the India & Pakistan Neemrana Dialogue, 10th round in Bhurban.
    • Participated in Kashmir Bridge Building Meeting, Kathmandu, Nepal under the auspices of International Centre for Religion and Diplomacy, Washington in November 11-14th, 2005.
    • Participated and delivered a Presentation in seminar on “Kashmir Issue” organized by National Defence College, Islamabad on 19 January, 2006 for the participants of Armed Forces War Course 2005/2006. The Topic given was Kashmir Movement, analysis and prospects.
    • Participated in Kashmir Conflict Transformation Workshop II in Male (Maldives) from 12th March to 16th March 2006 organized by Institute for Multi Track Diplomacy, Washington D.C.
    • Shah Ghulam Qadir, Chairman KIIR, Participated as panellist in “The Seventh National Security workshop” in National Defence College, Islamabad on 29th August 2006. His topic for presentation was “Kashmir Dispute”.
    • Participated in Open Court on “Provincial Autonomy and Human Security” organized by Heinrich Boll Foundation Lahore on 17th November 2006. His presentation was on Overall situation in Azad Kashmir.

    • Attended the Brainstorming Session of the South Asians on “The Role of Civil Society in the Prevention of Armed Conflicts” in Nepal organized by European Center for Conflict Prevention Netherlands and RCSS Srilanka.
    • Coordinated “International Kashmir Conference” on 16-17th March 2007 in Convention Center Islamabad. This conference was participated by intellectuals, scholars, parliamentarians and conflict resolution experts from all over the world. Prime Minister Pakistan and Chairman Senate of Pakistan addressed the Inaugural and Concluding sessions of the conference respectively.

    2. Attended the Sessions of UN Human Rights Council at Geneva from 2005 to 2007

    Study Tours

    1. Visited Northern Ireland to study the Irish Peace Model as a member of Kashmiri delegation organized by British             Foreign Affairs and Common Wealth Office London.
    2. Visited South Africa on the invitation of Human Rights Foundation of South Africa to observe the Racial             Reconciliation   process after the end of Apartheid. (July, 2002)

    Seminars

    1. Working with International Centre for Religion and Diplomacy, Washington DC (ICRD) on Kashmir Project and             also was one of the organizers of the two Faith-Based Reconciliation Seminars held at PC (Bhurban Sep, 2003) and        (Best-   Western March, 2004).
    2. Attended a Seminar in Vienna Austria on the subject “Kashmir: A Nuclear Flashpoint”, (August 2002)
    3. Delivered a lecture on Indo- Pak Peace Initiative at Cambridge University. (Feb, 2004

    Visits

    1. Visited different Think Tanks and NGOs and held discussions in United States Institute for Peace Washington (USIP), Center for Strategic and International Studies Washington (CSIS), Henry Stimson Centre, Federal Bureau of Mediation and Reconciliation.
    2. During international visits, had meetings with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, US State Department and MPs in US, Europe, Canada and South Africa.
